The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed charge d’affaires ad interim of Iran in Ukraine about the decision to revoke the accreditation of the Ambassador of Iran to Ukraine and to appreciably lower the selection of embassy’s diplomatic personnel owing to the information of the use of Iranian-built weapons by the Russian troops.

“To fulfill the request of the President of Ukraine to choose urgent actions to answer to the information of the use of Iranian-manufactured weapons by the Russian troops in the territory of Ukraine, the charge d’affaires ad interim of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ukraine was summoned to the Ministry of Overseas Affairs of Ukraine on September 23,” the statement reads.
